Pavel Srnicek, one of the greatest goalkeepers to have ever graced the grass at St James’ Park has unfortunately passed away at the age of 47.
We would like to give our condolences to Pavel’s family and friends in their time of need.

Pavel was an example to those youngsters who travel from foreign lands to make their way in a new country. He embraced Tyneside and likewise Tyneside embraced him. He will forever be loved and remembered as one of the key men in Keegan’s team of “Entertainers”.

Gone but never forgotten, Pavel is (and always will be) a Geordie!
